Following on from the Welsh D X TB thread made me think, anyone got a TB X Section C? I've got a TB X Section C X Weser Ems foal and he has an amazing temperament, is extremely fast with a balanced canter. I wonder will this change as he gets older?

not quite a section C but i have my welsh (PB) mare who is pretty much your section C type infoal to a TB.
the mares 1st foal was to a section C stallion and the filly is lovely (now 2) but is so much stockier and taller than the dam (sire and dam both same height so its a bit of a throwback to a sire on the sires side). anyway, we are very excited about this baby! sire and dam look very much the same in way of markings - so i 'probably' will get a bay with perfect star?

yours looks lovely and it will be very interesting to see how he develops.

To be honest, a TB x C isn't going to be much different from a D x TB, bearing in mind a C is really just a slightly smaller version of a D, hence an over height C can be reclassed as a D & an under height D can be reclassed as a C.
Lovely foal BTW!

Hello, yes I'd agree with this-and lovely foal! The height as with this cross generally can often be a surprise, be interesting to see what it is eventually. Something to do with hybred vigour....

Thanks, almost forgot, interested to see how big this one will be as his dam is a undersized 14.2HH TB (not sure of sire / dam heights unless anyone can help me here?) x with a 13HH Weser Ems x Section C.
