Oh dear poor girl, didn't really know what we were all about until NOW ! ! !
Having forced her kicking and screaming into the local pub for the initiation. We are now dragging her away for a weekend of Polox in Essex!
We will now find out if she has the stamina of a flea or an Ox.
She did really well yesterday she got on one of the babies that was backed and broken last year and which has just come back into work. Had a lovely ride and little horse was a good girl for her. Hubby was going to put her on my baby today so I am sure I will hear how that went later when I catch up with them. For any of you who don't know my baby is Ghost's (my mare who had to be PTS with a broken leg just over a month ago) 3yr old son so yes I will be keeping an eye on his progress and have already started wrapping him up in cotton wool
.
Kat has started to learn to stick and ball polo and polox and is doing very well on all accounts on the wooden horse and next week she will be having a go on the real thing, not that she knows that yet. Poor sod is getting HHO withdrawl syndrome but unfortunately we only have dial up at home and it is increadibly slow, so she isn't going to get a chance now to log on until Sunday night.
Well here is to her coming away with us for the weekend to watch some good games and be welcomed into the ever growing family of polox peeps.
Hopefully we are not too bad ogres and hope that she enjoys her time down at our place.
