Something just doesn't sit right with me with this op there treads are somewhat provoking.
I (and others) was trying to be helpful but am I just being led along for entertainment?

I am in awe at how much time she has to start driving her pony given she has 3 young children and numerous horses.
I've just realised that I should have spotted the thread looked odd from the title- I've never seen a pony drive a carriage before![]()
If your the Queen or in Victorian times maybe
But how would their little hooves handle the reins? And would their bottoms not get stuck in the box seat? And would they be driving another horse or something else? So many questions...![]()

Holding the reins in their teeth maybe that might work![]()
Ok, but then what about the whip? Mind you, if they are driving another horse then I suppose they could just ask it nicely![]()
Or neigh can they neigh while driving a pony with the reins between their teeth![]()
You have got it all wrong.
These people are teaching a horse to drive. He is at the observing stage. He is already sitting round the roads locally and is familiar with the car. Do you think he should do this for a while longer or just go for it driving?

No I was just saying that I compete him at the moment and it would set us back if he got injured, whereas if he didn't compete he could just recover slowlyWell that’s ok, so if he couldn’t jump you don’t need to worry if he’s injured!
He needs to take his theory test before he goes it alone. You have got it all wrong.

Okay, I'll ask my daughter's instructor if she knows anybody able to help me do thisMake sure and experienced person put to for the first few times and don't try anything without harness and a blinkered bridle
Why is it a struggle to read them all? It’s not war and peaceThere are a LOT of posts on this thread, struggling to read them all, by the way to anybody who seeing how I have the time to do all this, I'm a stay at home mum at the moment, and obviously 2/3 kids go to school so... Only got one to keep track of in the day!
