Teaching my horse to round

I've been trying to teach my horse to round for quite a while now and I am getting their but i feel like im constantly pulling/half halting on the reins and she then starts to slow down, ive been teachin her by squeezing with my legs and half halting/little pulls on the reins mainly the inside but outside to straighten her up.
What is the correct way to teach a horse to round? like basic instructions so tha i know if im doing something wrong.
She rounds whilst standing still when i ask her to and in walk and trot which is all i want but she wont hold it more than one time around the arena and in a dresage test i dont want it to look like im pulling on the reins.

You shouldnt be pulling on the reins - you should be squeezing gently on them by opening and closing your fingers, not moving your hands back and forwards and that will stop her from being able to move fowards freely. Work on circles, so lots and lots of spiralling in and out on circles, never just trot ''large'' around the arena, constantly change the bend and direction to loosen her up through her jaw and neck.

However the best thing to do would be to get a decent instructor to help you ''teaching'' a horse to be soft and supple in thier neck and over the back (it is not just a matter of them being ''round'' in the neck) is not something you can do on your own if you are inexperienced.
