Just got home and had a great time , met loads of HHO'ers and they were all so supportive.
Rafi performed his music test to the best of his ability and there were some super horses in his section ,including 2 finalists from the 5year old potential dressage horse [ 1 I believe was the winner] and a horse bought from the elite auctions which on its biography was announced as never been beaten[ no pressure on the judge there then] he didn't need help he was beautiful.
Rafi had a little blip in his first halt but apart from that ,he was a star.He came 7th overall and the only restricted in the top 10 .So he qualified .
We took him back to Partoow's who made us very welcome and gave up her bed for us ,she slept on the narrowest mattress I have ever seen! We went to a lovely Italian restaurant with FinnMcCoul and Bb's, the food was to die for and the conversation varied ,none of which could ever be repeated on this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today we went back to do the prelim regional and Rafi was a bit tired ,he did a lovely accurate test but just not as forward as they like to see in prelims.He was lying 6th when we left and everyone was very close but we think he would end up out of the top 10 so came home early.
We were so pleased with him ,he always tries his very best for us.
So off to Hartbury .On the Wed. he does the spillers CT ,on the Thursday the music and on the Sat. the novice rest.pet plan.I bet he is the only 5 year old horse doing 3 classes there!!
