The British squad for the senior European Championships has been announced as Polly Stockton (Westwood Poser), Laura Collett (Rayef), William Fox-Pitt (Cool Mountain), Mary King (Imperial Cavalier), Nicola Wilson (Opposition Buzz) and Piggy French (Jakata).

no surprises there. ace squad. shame for Pippa though.

i think the decision to leave out pippa is the right one shes lovely as is the horse but its not consistant at three star level and all of the other horses have good borderline exceptional four star form - one eighth in its first four star, one four star winner and three runners up and then buzz who nobody needs convincing about
