Tina got gold, Piggy got silver and WFP missed the bronze by 0.1 of a point!

Team Gold was won by about 100 points

I think now that there ought to be a concerted effort by all of us to get the Eventing Team proposed for the Team award at the BBC Sports personality of the Year. They have won gold for 8 years on the trot and this must be a record. What other sport can claim that?

So emotional too!! I'm absolutely thrilled! I remember his dam so clearly, fresh out of training, fighting fit, fully clipped and at stud in March/April. A really lovely mare - one of my favourites ATT. It's such a shame that Haddon Stud is no longer opperating - Chris had a great eye for a horse, Miner being no exception.

Simply wonderful! Am SO thrilled especially for Tina - such an inspiring rider for so long and this partnership with Miner's made in heaven. Congrats to all the connections!

Congrats to all of them - an awesome result!

I was gutted for him too, that pole cost him gold and a british 1, 2, 3

Not even the pole - one extra kick XC and 0.2 less on time would have done it!

I bet he's kicking himself now. Although an extra kick would have done for bronze but not Gold though! But would still have been a British 1, 2, 3.

Fab result for us as both Some Day Soon & Fernhill Clover Mist both by Kiltealy Spring, as is our event broodmare. He was the only stallion to have more than 1 offspring in the top 20, he really did produce stock with a true stamp. Our mare looks identicle to Some Day Soon.

That wide swing at the second water to get a decent approach to the third element cost him a medal. Such a shame.

I'd really have liked him to have got the gold. He's been such a stalwart of teams for so many years and just gets pipped in Championships. Thrilled for Tina though.

Terrific result all round.

Yeaa I thought they looked pretty close, especially when ever the tv camera focused on them if they saw they would move apart, apparently there just 'good friends' but they both said in interveiws they still love each other so who knows....
