Where to start?! It's been a fun one!

Sat: Off to Speedgate to do the Novice and Elem on Finnus.

He was a tense little git in the novice, just wouldn't go forwards in to the contact, but amazingly came out 2nd...in the open section

Elem much better - but as usual i didn't learn the whole test and had to yell at poor Twiglet as i was lost!

Judge even commented at the end "you didn't know your test did you?" Mmmm there's a pattern forming here. Goodness knows how i will cope next weekend having to learn 4 tests

Got 59. something...but as seems so common in Elem at the moment, there was only 1 above 60% when i left

Saw lots of old friends from Kent and was a lovely sunny day too

Sun: Harolds Park with Starry Night.

Now, Starry and I fell out big time 2 weeks ago at Norton Heath, resulting in us coming last on 50%

but today she was a changed pony. Did a lovely, supple and quite attentive test. Needed to be more forwards, but we're getting there

Came 5th in Prelim (despite me halting in the wrong place and losing another 2 marks

) and 4th in the Novice, with a big fat first point

Was lovely to see JoC, Katie-jaye, Rachelskeff and ofcourse thanks to Twiglet for once again having her weekend dedicated to grooming for me

OOh shall have to have a nosey in the magazine - I see Star appears in the newest edition of the 'riding club' mag (doing our pole work lesson).

Well done again hun - how did Rachel do?? x

I've been hiding away for the last few weeks with the most hideous morning sickness so I was glad to finally have a day out! I was feeling a little dickie about midway through the day though!
