I know i've moaned about this before but I CANNOT get any long leather boots to fit me. I'm 6ft 6inches tall, size 14. I don't think that is either tall or short, pretty average I think and I'm not thin but don't think i'm fat either. I have size 6 and half feet which is also pretty averagefor a woman. So, why is it so hard to buy long boots? I do have wide carfs so need a wide fit. I've found a lovely Mountain Horse pair that have a 42-44cm carf width....Wonderful! BUT........they regular leg hight is 46cm.
How many of us has 46cm in a sitting position from floor to crease at back of knee? Please go and measure for me, I really want to know if i've just got stupidly short lower leg.
Even the short length is 43cm. Mine only measures 40cm, at a push.
I am also wondering if they are measuring the boot at the side and includind the raised bit that goes up the sid of your knee.
Please have a look and see what you think....
