Hi All

I'm thinking of buying the tech dressage stirrups but they're quite pricey. I need help keeping my feet in the stirrups as my mare if a bit spooky so a good grip is required.

Any pros and cons before I buy? Are there any similar cheaper options out there?

Thanks ☺

Plain Sprenger irons with the cheese grater pads! http://www.houghtoncountry.co.uk/sp...4QBBAdausc1ewI-xajaQ8RxFRjBSOCwVd-RoC1X3w_wcB

in fact, I'd try the pads with your existing stirrups if they're a plain fillis type. I tried some of those fancy wide tread types, ended up selling them as I have flexible ankles and pretty much managed to push myself out of them. The Aphrodite and other wide tread types do work well for people with knee/ankle injuries that render you less flexible than other people.

I have these and also the Venice ones. Very nice stirrups. Quite light, very grippy and stable. Bit expensive but they do seem very good quality.
