Sorry for the late report! Thought I'd better pull my finger out before HG tells me off!
Teddy is still only 4 and has not really seen anywhere near that many people warming up for a test, and has never seen flowers/banners etc as he didnt do any young horse classes.
He warmed up beautifully and judging from the people trying to ride their horses over the top of us nobody realised he is a stallion.
He was tired from the early start and I found it hard to keep him moving forward and up into the bridle without being able to use a schooling whip, but he was obedient and really trying hard.
When we went in to do our Novise FSM he was VERY spooky. I spent the time I had in the arena before they rang the bell walking him backwards and forwards in front of the scary judges tables, I dont think he likes purple tablecloths!
He did a good test, apart from a wonkey halt, having to give him a few pony club kicks on the opposite side of the judges, and one big spook!
He scored 65.463%. The judge at H put us 6th overall, the judge at C 17th
and the judge at M 9th. Which put us 11th overall.
Pretty sure he was the youngest in the class so we where very pleased with him.
It was great to meet Bananaman, FMC and Partoow, and to see Law, Auntie Carthorse and her daughter again. (I think I may have seen some Freestyler red hair too!?
