Never been before & just wondering how busy, spooky the shows are.
We are trying to increase confidence in our mare, she’s doing well at home & out at clear rounds but would like to know if a good venue for a first show 80/90cm ?
Thanks for any info

It is a really nice venue, lovely large outdoor ring (set up for polo, so has netting around the outside), and they have put in a new outdoor warm up ring, so surfaces are good. (Their indoor can be a bit iffy). Run by a very friendly team, usually the army saddle club mums, so there will be a fair few kids and ponies around.
They use the same jumps for the unaff as they do for the BS, so they are quite bright. Courses are usually well built, and to proper distances, you may get the odd 'dodgy' line/turn but now they do BS this is rare, and certainly better then many other unaff.
I haven't been this year, but they had been running it to times, which makes the warm up much better. Usually around 30 in the 80cm, probably slightly less in the 90cm
There is always a photographer, so plenty of pics to look at beforehand to get an idea, and would imagine there are some vids on YouTube.
