Does anyone else think this horse is VERY reasonably priced, or is it just that prices are dropping as we get into winter?

I'm not looking to buy, but I often have a browse....

(and I have nothing to do with this horse or it's owner, it was just an observation!)

Can't see any link or anything! But will say there seems to be alot of unbroken/youngstock about this year with some real quality at a low price. Proper- break over winter couple of shows and xc schooling next spring and a killing can be made. The general stamp of this youngstock does seem to have improved this year. Maybe with the recession fewer people are breeding gremlins. :D (although I do own a good gremlin) (gremlin=horse that is fugly:cool:)

It is in the advert box to the right of the forum (I have seen other people use the >>>> to show that before - like an arrow to show you where to look!)

Goodness that is very cheap!!!! I would be very wary of a horse like that going so cheap, even in the current market, and its not a particulary cheap area either!! Maybe im just synical but i think cheap horses are only cheap for a reason and usually a bad one!!!

I didn't think it was that cheap :o shows what I know, although I have no clue if thise BSJA winnings are good or not...

I wouldn't pay that much for it!

By the looks of it he doesn't have great flatwork which is important to a lot of people and the jump isn't that nice I owuld like to see a horse bascule (SP?) a bit more. But thats my view on it I'm looking atm and I haven't seen anything worth going to see under 5k.

I'd be wary of it due to how cheap too. My friend bought a bsja showjumper last year for about £2500. He had quite a bit of winnings and had been over to spain to compete on the sunshine tour I believe. I really wasnt sure of him cuz of the price but she was in love so bought him anyway. Got him home and he had loads of issues. Seperation anxiety, wouldnt hack out alone or in company although was said to be fine. Just didnt ride forwards very well and started rearing aswell. My friend wasnt the most experienced rider and just wanted him for hacking and riding club but lost her confidence with him more and more so sent him away to be sold. Apparently he is really talented at jumping but is quite quirky and needs a very good rider.

Hmmmm... not hugely impressed with her conformation! Front legs look a little odd in the last picture though can't put my finger on why, neck looks odd and she seem to have no depth through her chest and stifle. Also seems a bit long in the back for a KWPN. Maybe I'm being picky or just tired as its rather late here!! She does seem a very good price but not the sort I'd go for, especially with the shape she makes over jumps.

I'm clearly never going to be able to afford a horse ever again. LOL!!
