Teeny weeny tiny mini SJ report!

So Zoom and I are really getting going on the old XC front, jumping 2'6-2'9 courses happily so thought it was about time we did some SJ. We have only attempted SJing once before, last August and don't have a school or jumps to practice over (bar going to Tedster's place :)).


Saturday, we decided to hack to a show - it took 2.5 hours :eek:!! We took it super easy and Zoom is very fit and it was a wonderful hack, taking in the sights of Richmond Park and Wimbledon common :D

We got there and gave the horses a drink and a rest before doing the 2'3 clear round. Zoom was fab and went clear :D On to the Novice 2'3, over the same course but unfortunately we had one down. Zoom put in a half stride and panicked, demolishing the whole jump!! Realistically, I need to do bigger jumps with her to make her actually jump. Over tiddly ones she always chips in and gets REALLY close. I was very pleased with her, a great start!!!!

It was an epic journey!!! I had a fab time though :D CC welcome as always!

Thanks hun :( I was talking about Monty when we were in Richmond park on Sat. He was TERRIFIED of the deer, daft animal :D 17hh of tb shaking at the sight of a tiny fallow deer! It's nice to talk about the good times we had together :)
 
Woo hoo we survived !!

Honestly though that ride made yuo realise how fab our horses are ,, we had buses, lorries skips, balloons ..a funfair.. deer stupid kids shouting etc....and they behaved like angels :)

Zoom was a star and your photos are really nice not like mine lol... never mind I had a great day if a bit sore now, would do it all again :)
 
You do seem to be having a minor disagreement with Teddy boy in the first photo :D

They really were superstars :) :) Although poor Zoom pooed herself at those flowers and I was so tired i thought I was a gonner! I would def do it again.....but not for a while since I'm pretty achey! :D Thank god for Heather Moffett seat savers!!

Thanks for a lovely day. Spoke to the lady about HT on Sunday and she said I can send entries today :)

OK cooilo I didnt get hold of Rob gonna try again at lunch time :)

Teds is a xc ponio lol doest respect show jumps!! But I think the first jump photo is better than the second!! lol
