Hi All,
I am browsing for a possible new jumping saddle for my boy, because my current saddle (thorowgood) doesn't offer any support when jumping.
I have been looking at the tekna jumping saddle, i have seen one in the flesh, they look very comfy, they seem to be well made and reasonably priced, and i also have the tendon boots too and have been pleased with them, but i would like to hear what people think about them?
How do they fit?
Do they support your legs well?
Are they comfy?
Just generally, what do you think?
This is the link to the saddle if anyone is interested, i will be looking to get black :)

oh and just a few pics of my boy, Basil. I think my mum may have posted a few photos of him previously :)

I posted in CR about Tekna saddles a while ago and got mixed reviews. I was looking for something lightweight, adjustable, hardwearing and economic for my 4 yo. I got a jumping one and have been really impressed with it. It fits him well (they are on the wider side as I thought he'd be MW but actually a medium is perfect on him) and is really comfortable - I've ridden for 3 hrs in it (not on my lad but on another horse) and been fine. There's not much in the way of knee rolls but it's still very secure, I've gone xc in it no prob and also had some high jinx with the youngster and felt very secure. The synthetic is quite leather like and so easy to clean. Added bonus for me was I got 20% off as there was a sale on!! Thumbs up from me- suits me and horse and does the job!!!
