Anyone use this? Girl on the yard has the saddle/bridle and breastplate and it seems really nice for synthetic.

I'm about to try a tekna dressage saddle on Saturday so will report back then :D someone on here likened it too the top of the range amerigo saddle so I'm quite excited :D

Oh def let me know, looking at it for new girl, we tried the bridle on her last night and it was really nice.

I have a gp and dressage saddle of theirs and love them, people dont realie they're synthetic until I tell them.

Tonight I wll be ordering a bridle, breastplate and girth for my new horse as I am fed up of leather tack going hard or getting mouldy in my damp tack room.

Love them - I've got a dressage saddle, bridle and head collar (though I constructed the bridle out of two ones to get something with a 'traditional' set up). The saddle is sooooo comfortable compared to my wintec GP.

The original saddles have heat adjustable gullets, apparently based off the Prestige ones - my saddler sent mine back to the UK distributor to be altered. The second generation version (not sure if they're available in the UK yet) apparently have interchangeable gullets akin to Wintecs.

The boots and head collars are stocked by various places. I got my saddle from the Old Dairy Saddlery (they were having an amazing sale a year or so back). Equestrian clearance now stock stuff from them too as does, oddly, amazon.

I have just bought the dressage version after already owning a close contact one............they are fantastic but don't let anyone tell you changing the gullet is easy as they would be lying!!!

forgot I have a set of tekna boots too. Just ordered my extra stuff from equestrian clearance.

I got my first tekna saddle, a fixed gullet gp, from the old dairy saddlery sale (amazing bargain) and was so impressed I bought a dressage one (this time with adjustable gullet) too.

The lady who bought Chico also bought the gp saddle from me but happily I still have the dressage saddle that fits Kasper perfectly. When I spoke to Chico's new owner after a week she asked if I had actually ever used the saddle as she thought it was brand new, she was shocked when I told her it had been my main riding saddle for many months and that I had just wiped it down with a baby wipe before she had it!

Tekna is highly under rated in this country but it seem to be popular in America.

Have the tendon boots & everybody thinks they're posh leather ones. How much are the GP saddles roughly?

the s-line adjustable gullet ones are £297.99 on equestrian clearance (but only in 17.5" and 18") or £228 for the none adjustable (size 16" and 18" only)

I have found though that it isnt much more to have one shipped in from america - they have a few different model and the choice of suede or synthetic panels

I have the Tekna tendon boots, and they're fab - they look like leather, not plasticy or tacky looking like some synthetic can be.

Interesting to hear that the saddles are good - anyone have one on a cob? What is the fit/shape like?

How do they size up, been told by some people they come up small and some people they come up big lol. Mare takes a 17", not sure if she would take a 17.5" if its big made.

I'd say they are about normal tbh. I dont think you'd have a problem with a 17.5" as long as your mare isnt too short backed.
