Someone was offering them on freecycle about a week ago(so down south surrey/kent area) - they were 2metre lengths but for free....suspect you would have to collect them though.
I can have a look through my deleted items and see if I can find it for you?
£25 is about the going rate im afraid unless you can collar the guys as they take them down, even then sometimes they arent aloud to let you have them because the company sells them on.
Irritatingly the chap who came round to get my permission to cut my trees to clear the electricity cables reckons his mate has the contract to store the new poles and that the old poles are being dumped on his (the mate's) land and he can't get rid of them. I did offer to take a load off his hands but they were 50 miles away from me and it wasn't going to be easy.
I'll try to get a number for this guy when they come back to do the trees - it sounds like there could be a big market for them at £20!
We get the old ones dumped up at the farm where i keep my girls, they still have the metal top things on! im not sure what the farmer is planning on doing with them?? when the hunt came through they stopped to ask if they were for sale!
You have to be careful with things these days. As few years ago I am sure that you could pick them up easily; now they are seen as "waste" and the company has to deal with them as such.
