Of course, all lurchers are honorary greyhounds :D

Oh goodie!

I have 4!

Boyd - 5 year old foxhound x grey. Rescue - farmer's grey was got by a loose entire hound and he was going to drown the litter. all 13 pups were rehomed by me and my friend. Boyd was unlucky 13 who noone wanted...

Freddie - 2 year old saluki x grey. Again a rescue from the lurcher link site. He had 7 people interested in him before us but all decided he was too boisterous. He fits into our home just fine! We like boisterous

He's a bit of a plonker and turns like this...

And we have 2 puppies that were again rescues. Dumped at 5 weeks (could have been younger...). 2nd litter from the same bitch! They are lab x saluki

Enzo the day we got him

Here's my boys, Hector & Throp, they were 5 last Friday although look older with their greying muzzles. We adopted them from the RGT at 22 months as they weren't going to make it as racers, we collected them from their racing kennels so it was nice to see where they'd grown up and meet their breeder/trainer. Hector seems tall at 28in but both are smaller side for boys at 30-32kg. Personality wise they are like chalk & cheese, Hector is confident and unflappable, talkative and a velcro hound whereas Throp's tends to be a nervous nellie, super lazy and a bit stubborn but they are both very loving and playful (well when their awake!). I love watching them play together.

I had to wait 7yrs until i could finally get a greyhound and i've not been disappointed, they really are a fabulous breed and i didn't expect the social life they'd bring with all the greyhound events. Its sometimes like being a celebrity's entourage as people always seem to want to meet the dogs and ask questions about them or take their photo, i don't mind as i like to promote greyhound adoption but it seemed strange at first.

Post blood donation last week

Brotherly love (Throp has the blaze btw)

I have two: Eoin (pronounced Owen) is a gentle giant who loves his hugs. http://www.www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=49130449&l=9a12ccdb6b&id=10224379

He's 40kg and humungous, but can be scared of his own shadow bless him!

Dixie is my little blue girly who's cocky as hell and rules the house.

Did you know you can post FB pics directly? If you right click the image and click copy image location (not link location) then paste with
around it it works just fine. And the piccies are a better size than photobucket...

I have 4 Greyhounds :)

Scooby, we got him in Nov 2004. He was a cruelty case, found in a boot of a car with 3 others & he was the worse condition & the kennels never thought he would pull through. Thankfully he did. He broke his leg back 3 years ago & due to his bones not forming properly we had no choice but to have it amputated.
He's still as mad having 3 legs than having all 4.

Sparky, we got him in May 2005. He wasn't fast enough for his owner so i took him & gave him a couch for life.

Bluey, i got him in Nov 2006. His previous owner wanted to retire him from racing so again i took him on.
His breeding is excellent.

Tiger, i got him in August 2009. He just wasn't getting the break when racing so his previous owner was looking for a good home for him & yet again i took him on.
