Tell me about your socks

So they stay up! I don't know if it's the way I walk, but short socks slide down on me especially the RHS one!

I'm trying to work out why you have one sock from the Royal Horticultural Society, then realised you've used shorthand for right hand side?

I am a big fan of Rohan ankle socks

Rohan are expensive but my uni friend who walks (we are both now elderly) recommended their overtrousers when we walked in torrential rain. I bought one of their summer macs as it weighs almost nothing. But is doesnt have a back pleat or opening and I never ride in it.
I do like to walk in smart wool socks from Ellis Brigham but they are designed to go in walking boots. I am careful about socks for walking but never gavwe a thought to the ones I ride in, Just men's wool socks.
