Tell me all about these breeds

Yes very tiny, and quite rare too (at least, they're very rare in Italy). It's an old, old breed too, which is good

i have a chuihaha (sp) x jack russel who is a sweetheart! Not yappy at all, very trainable, never seen him get cross or aggressive in any way - great with kids etc. Loves to play and go on walks yet will happliy sleep in the house all day if we are out. The only downside to him is he does like to hump...even though hes had the chop! Great cross breed!

The manchester terrier looks like the min pin. What are they like personality wise?
I do like whippets, but they aren't small, or can you get some that are small?

They seem to have a reputation for being hard-headed and difficult with other dogs. Now admittedly I've only met three, but they've all been fantastic--great personalities, loved my Stella, and FAST. I prefer them to Min Pins, personally. Min Pins are a dime a dozen in NYC, and while I've not had a bad experience, I do prefer the Manchesters.

Still, Bostons, Bostons, Bostons!

Patterdales are awesome little guys and they do go all day. I found out about them as one of our guys has Paterdale in him, but he weighs 40lbs. Paterdales are tiny and just so full of energy. They have to be socialised from the start with lots of dogs or they can be confrontational. However with humans i haven't met one that was anything but a cuddle monster. If I was picking a breed (which I wouldn't) and he had to be small (doesn't matter to me) it would definitely be a paterdale terrier. Also called a black fell terrier I think.

Do love Italian greyhounds though. Every time I get near a discover dogs stand at any dog show I always make a beeline for them
