Hello you helpful peeps :D

My friend has just bought this lad. Wondered what y'all think to him. He's thirteen months I believe. I have his pedigree if anyone's interested :D

If you get a good one they are the most fantastically versatile horses, will turn a hoof to anything. Mine hacks, hunts (including a very memorable big hedge day with the Wynnstay), events easily at 90cm and would do 100, does dressage to elementary and is a saint to handle.

That said, I've met plenty that are rude, bargy and generally obnoxious! I'd avoid the popular showing bloodlines as a lot of these are nuts, they breed them for fieryness which does not make for a nice riding horse!

When are you going to see her? Let us know how you get on! Honestly mine is the perfect pony for me and he doesn't fit the stereotype at all, I'm a really nervous rider and he looks after me so much. I love him so much I can't even put it in words.

Bought mine in April last year when she was 3. Can't fault her so far. lunged a couple of times - perfectly, been out in traffic - no problem. Ridden twice now and no problems at all. Early days I know. Boxed straight away, perfect for farrier, stud on weight thingy for feed woman. Had plastic bags rubbed all over her and walked over them Sometimes she can be a bit hard to catch, but a carrot always works. But someone has chewed her mane when grooming each other so spoiled this years showing plans.
