Not every brand will fit every hoof, even if you wish they did. However the more all encompassing styles eg Old Mac, Cavallo and Equine Fusion tend to be more forgiving in fit and are easier to add pads to as well if they are a bit sensitive to start with. Excellent for a first set as the foot will change shape a lot for the first few months.
I had a set of Old Macs that did 3 different horses! Despite the clumpy look they actually didn't affect gait, although I do prefer the sportier close fitting types as I do a lot of miles. Those tend to be harder to get the fit right though!
