A simple yes or no will suffice :p

Making pup sleep on VariKennel floor with no mat/bed overnight, until the weekend after a little bit of a wrecking spree?

He has a bed while I am in the room to keep an eye on him, but not unsupervised until something more heavy duty is delivered in a few day's time, so just on the plastic floor?

Perfectly reasonable.

Loki's mancave-time currently involves lying on a plastic tray with only a couple of cheapy arse fleece blankets in the corner. They cover just enough room for the clydesdale mutant to use them as a thin pillow.

He ate the damn bedding. He can lie in his plastic tray until it gets replaced!

Although in fairness his nights are spent on my bed warming my feet and enjoying my amazing squishy mattress.... But that's just weakness of character on my part :p

Simple version as requested......

Meh, he'll live long enough to seek his revenge. Go for it.

Nope. B had a period of just a towel, because I'm horrible and she killed her other bed.

If you do find something heavy duty enough to deter him could you please let me know. My mother is spending far too much money on new beds for Molly, her last one only lived a week!

I've ordered some rubber matting :o

Towels are an issue because when he was a baby pup they were bundled up and tied on the end of a flirt-pole/long line so he thinks they are for killing :o

Of course you are evil, cute little Floofy should have a soft pink bed to sleep on, anyone would think he was a tough working breed being made to slip o plastic.:p
I've sent you an email , would like your opinion on something.

Oh dear... my mother is too soft for rubber mats:rolleyes:

Personally I think she should just tape Mollys gob shut overnight:eek::p

you are indeed evil... :p

if its an outdoor kennel, then you could always try straw? thats what i use in betty's kennel.

i know of more than one american bulldog who can have no bedding unless supervised... they have needed life saving surgery to remove said bedding from deep within...

touch wood, betty is content to sleep the day away without eating things!

The first week we had Dax she wizzed on so many nice comfy beds that she had an old crispy beach towel in her crate until everything could be washed and dried out. :o
