Well have finally put my gorgeous horse on the market, basically because i have a younger horse which i bred and am running out of time and money! Its so hard though because he is such a perfect angel in everyway, the phone hasnt stopped ringing tonight and someones coming in the morning, sorry for going on, but feel really sad that he might actually go...

i have poppy up for loan with view to buy atm, i have had tonnes of interest but no ones been just perfect, my mum is very keen for me to see how things go over the winter now my confidence is up. i really don't want to let her go, i love her to death, and hopefully if things get better riding wise i might be able to keep her. i kno where your coming from its like selling a member of the family

I once read somewhere that we are all kidding ourselves that others can't/won't look after our horses better than we do. I sold one of our pony's last year and was devastated - felt guilty and missed her terribly. However, she has gone to a brilliant home where she having an amazing time - pony club, hunting etc etc, and it proves that she must have been bored to tears with us and I'm now glad she's where she is, having a ball.
