THE Most interesting markings?
I (although I dearly love my horses) Pretty much have "normal" looking beasts! lol
all are soild with stars on their faces. I am wondering if I may have subconciously planned it

anyhow. I have no photo to contribute but I am just curiuos to see some interesting markings on other peoples horses

Pics could include (but not limited to)
Odd facial marking or leg markings in unusual shapes (possibly even resembling something!

)
strange rare colors...etc.
so let's see them!

Use to have an old gypsy mare years ago piebald & on her neck she had a witch's head with hat & also a horses head but I dont have any pics of them. She is in the VoL country if the old girl is still alive??

A friend of mine had a chestnut mare with a backwards question mark on her face.

Coloured in my siggy has a teardrop white marking from her eye. You can just see it in the siggy.

Ahh heres one for me my girly has lovely facial markings and I think quite unusual

her front feet are quite unusual too!!!

Does anyone remember the story about the mare that had a heart shaped star...she gave birth to a foal with a perfect arrow on its back!?

I have some pretty odd hosses, herc's blaze slips off of the side of his face...and oshk is just funk!
I Have always always loved B_G's late horse, Sid's markings, he was such a stunning horse, he always always caught my eye, one of the most beautiful horses IMO.
Also SeaOfDream's coloured mare, who I always dribbled over- I believe she is now in foal, I adore her!

Talis has Africa on his head. Thought he'd grow into this star, but it seems to have grown with him. Had he been a mare, I would definitely have give him Africa as a stable name.

someone on here has a very gorgeous bay with a white tail. I can't remember who though!
My dun mare I sold had silver streaks in her mane, very pretty.

Well, Marius is a Chocolate dun and he has quite an unusual facial marking, don't you think? I call it Marius' heart:

Murphy has odd facial markings, he also has a tiny bit of white on his neck, apart from that he is a blue roan with an appaloosa bottom!! Will find some piccy's to post!

Casper has a diffrent fave marking! (my uncles pony) It sort of has a faded patch on the side. you can just about see it on this photo

My other freind also has a coloured with a 'dragon' on its side

Cairo is interesting - and getting more so as he gets older and the bay areas go grey. Has been used in model horse mag to demonstrate what is a sabino.

Vet's are normally at a loss to describe him and he has been everything from a strawberry roan skewbald to a bay roan.

None of mine have any particularly spectacular markings, but TT has interesting whorls. He has 3 in a triangle on each side of his neck.

And Chip has a half-moon star but it's nothing special.

Some of the markings are VERY interesting!

Castle has blue freckles!

You can only see them once he's clipped though, although he has lots on his muzzle!

Not really intersting but everyone comments on the cross on big boys nose.

Hattie has a hat on her head. Hence her name.

Gyp is a blue roan and white which is quiet a wierd colour.
