I'm riding a friends horse for her at the moment as she cant ride for medical reasons, been riding him for a while and a week or two he came up with some lumps on his leg but wasnt lame or anything the vet came out and gave him the all clear but said he should wear tendon boots to protect his legs. Since then he has been wearing his tendon boots 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Is this normal? she said the vet recommended it but maybe she misunderstood him? I thought they were specifically for exercise like a horse form of a sports bandage. Is it bad for him to wear them all the time? Hes become much more clumsy lately even in walk tripping over all the time could it be related?
