My horse is just returning back into work after injuring a tendon, 15 months ago, we left her for a whole year before getting the vets back out to rescan the leg, so we tied it in with her flu jab and teeth visit. Now we can ride her again, but have been advised to protect the front legs with a good quality set of tendon boots, am just wondering if anyone has had a similar thing happen and if so what sort of boots they used.

My horse did a suspensory when he raced. Whenever I ride him, I put him in a set of Roma open front jump boots and fetlock boots.

They are quite rigid and offer a lot of protection in the event he hits himself (he is also a bit base narrow) :)
