So, am looking to get my boy some new tendon & fetlock boots and I've narrowed it down to a few below and was wondering which ones would be your choice and why? I know their are quite a lot but I would like two pairs - a navy set and a brown set!

Eskadron Flexisoft Pro Safe Memo Front Boots
Eskadron Flexisoft Pro Safe Memo Hind Boots

Eskadron FlexiSoft AirEasy Front Boot
Eskadron FlexiSoft AirEasy Hind Boot

Acavallo Ultimate Tendon Boots
Acavallo Ultimate Fetlock Boots

Dalmar Leather Open Fronted Horse Showjumping boots- front made from Carbon fibre
Dalmar Protechnique II Advanced back boots made from Leather

Veredus Carbon Gel Vento Tendon & Fetlock Boots
Veredus Carbon Shield Overreach Boot

Norton Pro Tendon & Fetlock Boot Set

Gel-Eze Bee Tendon & Fetlock Boots

Tri-Zone Airlite Tendon Tendon & Fetlock Boots

KM Elite Airshock Tendon & Fetlock Boots

Thank you for getting this far! I have some chocolate Eclairs to share for any own who helps! :)

I've not used any of those boots but I'm looking for new ones! I've had trizone ones (old style not air vent ones) and woof wear ones. I'm now looking at premier equine ones. Quite like the verdus ones on your list but with air vents and cheaper I think. Sorry that was no use!

I've these in grey -Eskadron Flexisoft Pro Safe Memo Front Boots & Flexisoft Pro Safe Memo Hind Boots
Really like the design as nothing gets in the Velcro, fit really well on the leg and my boys legs don't get to warm either
Tri zone ones spun round on mine so went on eBay

I like them but I really like fetlock boots that wrap around, like mini tendon boots...if that makes sense?! ;)

Ooh, I though they might heat his legs too much? Have you found they're quite warm? :)

On a very hot day then yep they're abit warm but they prob would be with any boot on, normal days they're fine, his legs certainly dont sweat under them and I love how the memory foam moulds to the leg. My friend has them on her horse with a giant splint and the boots mould round it, other boots rubbed the hair!

Probably not helping as you didnt list them but I love the Premier Equine Kevlar ones.
Super lightweight and strong. Keep legs cool and are very protective.
And they fit my mare a treat!

Maxine - Ah, okay! Maybe them & the vented Eskadron ones aswell? My boy has a splint so that's useful to know!

FRP - I'm always interested in opinions! I looked at them but I'm not overly keen on those type fetlock boots!

Norton, some masta, hkm and Roma make the hard shell boots with the wrap around fetlocks. Hkm would be your best bet

I have some HKM ones and they don't wrap around the fetlock? Unless I've described it all wrong and I do have the ones you're suggesting! Thought they were okay, not very nice padding inside etc but okay...! :)

I have Norton pro and have been really pleased with them. I am like you with fetlock boots. They are not the smartest boots but are easy to clean. They fit well and have never rubbed. Legs are a little warm on hot days. I have been really pleased with them especially considering the price.
I really like the look of the eskadron vented boots, but would like to try the closure

I have km elite airshock tendon and fetlock boots and I really like them, they fit well, don't slip, don't rub and her legs don't get too hot in them.
My horse had a massive overreach in her last pair in the field and struck into the back of the boot and ripped her front shoe off, the boot was cracked down the spine but not distorted and the inside of the boot and my horses leg was completely unmarked.

Sorry can't quote as on phone.

Veredus are worth it for us. Hard wearing, stand up to round after round and wash well.

Trizone- they don't seem to fit as wide a variety for me.

Dalmar- I do still have concerns over the issues with the strike guard shattering and slicing tendons etc.

Ah, okay. They're very nice but expensive

I thought they might be too long for him - he's in between cob & full

I think I'll be crossing Dalmars off my list then! :)

the veredus are expensive but they are hard-wearing and wash really well.
mine looked like new when they came out of the washing machine.
i much preferred the old style trizone boots.

So, I think I've narrowed it down! Though I would loveeeee a set of Veredus ones - I have to get him a few other things, which make them a bit expensive! :o So, I'm deciding between the following:

KM Elite Airshock Tendon & Fetlock Boots
KM Elite Ballistic No-Turn Over-Reach Boots

Eskadron FlexiSoft AirEasy Front Boot
Eskadron FlexiSoft AirEasy Hind Boot
Eskadron Lambskin Over-Reach Boots

Love them both, like the price of the KM Elites but the Eskadrons are nice - and I've heard glowing reports on them! :)

OP, I can give a glowing report on the KM Elite Airshocks if it helps! I've had mine for at least 18 months now, they've been put through hell yet still look really nice, they fit my boy like a glove, and his legs are yet to overheat no matter what weather we've ridden in! :)
