Hey guys,
tmr is my first month anniversary with my 10-yr old mare
But after riding today, I checked her tendons and she has a slightly warm spot just on top of the fetlock (the rest of the tendon seems fine)and which I thought was puffier than the rightfore. It doesn't seem terribly swollen but am still worried!
Please advise! I don't know how to tell if it's an early sign of a tendon injury or could it just be normal cos when I rode her, she seemed perfectly fine and not lame. However, I play polo with her so I don't know if all the stopping and turning today caused it! Should it be a cause for worry even if the swelling and heat goes down tomorrow?
all advise appreciated.
Thanks!
