Hi
My 25 year old ID/TB suffered from a very severe tear to his superficial flexor tendon on 12th Feb. He has been on box rest since. For the first 4 weeks he had cold hosing and ultrasound. He then had prp (platelet rich plasma) therapy. Unfortunately this failed and his tendon is deteriorating further under his weight and due to the inflammation. He also has Cushings which is not helping as it inhibits healing. I was obviously devastated to find out on Friday that it is actually getting worse.
Does anyone have any advice, suggestions of treatments, supplements etc? At this point I'm afraid I need something akin to a miracle but I can't give up yet - he is happy in himself and calm on box rest.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, as will stories of your own positive experiences that might give me hope. No negatives please, I have to try to stay strong for him too!
Thanks all
