Tendon - is it better to?

Aw I'm glad you found it encouraging! No water does make it a bit more difficult but it can be done it's just slower? Is there any equine pool near you? If horse has no back troubles then swimming as she gets a bit fitter could be if benefit. The fact that she had a foal definitely helps as her time off would have been fairly active and she also had a major period of weight carrying exercise!! Best of luck

Not close enough to get to unfortunately - she's definateyl been active during her time out. My plan is to just walk out round the roads for the next few months gradually building up. We won't introduce any trot until she's walking out for a good 45 minutes - hour without problems. She did a little light hacking last autumn after she recovered from pneumonia (choked in early pregnancy - horses!) and before she got to big to be comfortable and she was staying sound no problems doing that so I'm pretty hopeful she'll come back into full (for us) work without to much bother. We don't jump or anything so nothing too stressful, mainly hacking etc
