My horse has never had any issues with his tendons etc, and never does lots of fast work/ hard ground etc so icant think what could be bringing this up, besides the fact is so veery slightly over at the knee. But this isnt really noticeable unless you really look.

Anyway, when stabled, his tendon(?) started to come up very slightly, it wasnt warm/ causing him pain and he wasn't lame, and after being turned out etc during the day he would come in and it'd gone down. However, he went out on 24/7 grazing last week and its not come up since. Until today

Its at the back of his cannon bone, and very slightly around the side of the leg too. Its even on both sides and goes from above his fetlock to just below his knee. What could it be?? / What should i do. (besides calling the vet to maybe have a look.)

Sounds like filling rather than swelling if it goes down with movement. If it was a tendon I would expect it to worsen with movement. Horses that are over at the knee generally don't strain tendons because of their conformation. Could be due to a small cut that you have missed? I would cold hose regardless and keep a watchful eye. If it doesn't improve soon, call the vet.

Thankyou, it just dawned on me as you said that that he has a small cut furthur up his leg..but i cant remember whether its the right leg haha

Evening Darcy- I think it sounds like filling legs rather than swelling, try bandaging his legs when he comes in at the mo, My sis's horse gets it she is tb/wb but only seems to get it at certain times of the year tho!?

Hey guys, thanks for the tips , brought him in tonight and found the tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiniest cut on his leg, and i think it could've been that but ill keep an eye on it
