My horse came in lame last week with swollen knees and tendons in both front legs. He has caught his front legs with his flying around the field antics so Been cold hosing 3x a day 20 minutes each leg and also on bute.
Two days later, pretty much all the heat, swelling and lameness is gone but there is some thickening (superficial/poss deep flexor area), it is not sore, its cold but there seems to be a small sort off hard lump that has been hardening up since he done it. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas what this could be?
Vet said going to scan the tendon when swelling is down so going to ring tomorrow and get the horse booked in.
