Hi would really appreciate some advise. My mare slightly damaged her suspensory ligament just after xmas. She was scanned and most of the fibres were absolutely fine it was really just a case of being inflammed. So did the religious box rest, walking in hand, cold hosing and initially some bute. All was going fine and we started to return to work and then had a particular excitable day and the next day there was a bit of heat. She was immediately rescanned and although there was considerable progress from xmas some of the inflammation has definitely returned.
After look through old posts I have seen people recommend msm which I will buy for her tomorrow but vet has also suggested either Cartrophen, Adequan or IRAP does anyone have any experience of these and how successful. However frustrating this is I love this mare to death so im in no hurry to rush her but anything I can do to help long term prognosis I will
Thanks
