Tendring/ colchester hacking?!

Getting in a right muddle! been looking at an os map and their seem to be NO bridleways in the colchester area!

Anyone live around this area and could possibly tell me if i am being dumb- or is there no bridleways?!

I live in Colchester and have horse out at Stanway area, and hacking is great there, and you can also use the East Anglian Farmers Rides (but must have a permit pass to ride these) and they take you all over the place.
Personally haven't been on this as yet, as I do not have the permit as yet.

I've kept horses in Colchester and the surrounding villages for years, and we have a network of public bridleways and permissive bridleways around our way (SW Colchester) and the hacking is excellent, with very little road work. And as Merlywerly says, there is the EAFR network. Are you in Colchester already, or just thinking about moving here?
