Tension at times - help pls

My horse is pretty laid back most of the time but at competitions he can become very tense & therefore tight in his back. I've thought about using a calmer specifically for tension. Any suggestions gratefully accepted. Would prefer a one off for the occasion syringe as he's a fussy feeder & won't take additives in his feed. Also not magnesium, he doesn't need any.

I have heard the Oxyshot syringes are excellent. It gives them a high dose of oxygen instantly and apparantly calms and makes them concentrate more.

I think it only costs around a tenner for a 3 dose syringe, so would be perfect for competitions.
