errr

it would appear that I have a dog for the weekend minimum.... he is coming first thing tommorrow morning :rolleyes: Friend is ill so trying to make it so hubby can stay with her in hospital.

Like dogs... never actually had one before though ;) I did say I might have to dock him if his tail does too much damage... he is deerhoundx it is long ;) so we will see how he gets on, he may or maynot be staying nights or I might go stay at theirs bit undecided yet.

wish me luck am sure we will be fine :D

:o its only cos obv its the place to be ;)

admits to spending formative years borrowing other people's dogs .. small cairn down road was fab.. v good at home made agility ;)

springer next door who would rather you didn't and would prefer to stay at home!

and the 2 aunts with dogs were always my favs :)
 
It would seem no one has informed you of the AAD initiation ceremony - we have to have pictures of said pooch to prove your eligibility!

has tried out every rug in the place... lots of flat walking going on then popping in to check I am still here ;) Seems to have finally decided on big rug at my feet

1 very small accident that I suspect was from when he first came in (he is a boy :rolleyes:)

think so haven't given him the chance atm though!, we went to play ponies this afternoon and after a little discussion about where he was staying while I rode in the field (he likes to watch ;) ) was v good boy and ignored the cat (who was NOT impressed).

He doesn't like it if I go out of sight atm bless

he is currently attempting to fit all limbs into my very narrow parker knoll type chair... with occasional groanage.

I am awaiting the discussion re sleeping arrangements tonight ;) :D

I only have a single bed :o there is only one side..... my side... I already found him on it earlier but chucked him out!
 
Kitsune speaketh the truth! You'd think they would be satisfied with being invited onto the bed but no, they simply MUST occupy the same space as your face.
 
update on sleeping arrangements.

dog on bed....
'down'
dog goes to sleep on floor
ester goes to sleep in bed
dog fidgets to other rug/armchair throughout night, occasionally blowing up E's nose ;) and huffing at me :)

good night had by all, he is going home tonight for a bit but will actually miss having him about. :D
 
yup he is going home tonight for a bit but nice to see that he is fine if needs be in future which is quite likely. He likes everyone, spent all day sat next to my car at a show today (tho did have to borrow rents car... he didnt quite fit in the clio :eek:. ) am not sure if I could have one all the time ... though I spose its different cos I haven't wanted to leave him at my place on his own... is a bit of a timewaster though... list of jobs not done quite long :) nice to have him about tho.
