terrible morning

had such a sad morning, i met another girl riding and since we were going the same way decided to wander back together. the horses were fine and enjoying themselves and then a terrible thing happened, her horse staggered and fell to the ground having a heart attack, it was awful and so sad she'd had him years and he looked so well. it brought back all the memories of when i lost my old boy and we were both in tears on the side of the road. managed to get my boy home and go back with the trailer to pick the horse up. such a sad day

That's so sad, the poor girl must be beside herself. Can only echo what the others said, at least it was quick and he had been having a lovely time.

Thank heavens you were there with her. Imagine having that happen if you were out alone.
