Has anyone used a warm epsom salt soak for drawing out pus?

Yes I have, if your horse will stand with his foot in a tub then that would be a good thing to do.

I still have a box of magnesium sulphate in the boot of my car. Its the same as epsom salts but you can buy it from gardening/hardware shops much cheaper than epsom salts from the chemist.

thankyou is it the same ratio for magnesium sulphate 1 part to 5 parts water as with epsom salts

I read/heard somewhere that the chances of having two severe lameness-causing injuries or conditions on the same leg were almost unheard of. One life-threatening one is enough. As is one life ending one.
