Not actually a dog question but ... does anyone have any of this product lurking in a cupboard?? My elderly cat is on daily tablets and the easiest way of getting him to take them was sprinkled in Tesco Premium Dog Gravy. Trouble is, my local store say it has been discontinued and the Customer Services Dept cannot locate it without a barcode.
I've already used the last of it I had and am getting desperate.
Does anyone's local store still have some? Or can anyone recommend something similar?

Has to be a gravy type thing. The cat is 17 and wont eat human food. He isnt even keen on cat food but prefers cat biscuits. He is on sprinkle tablets daily and the vet says we need to keep his liquid intake up. The gravy was the only thing I could get him to eat LOL. At the moment I'm buying cat food in gravy and scraping out the gravy cos he wont eat the meat chunks but its costing a fortune as you dont actually get a lot of gravy!

How about thick instant Bisto gravy, you can get different flavours now? We use that for the dogs sometimes and it's cheaper than cat food!

Only problem with Bisto gravy is there is so much salt in it I wouldnt have thought it would do the cat any good.

He wont touch Bisto anyway. Someone has suggested baby food so I'm going to give that a try and see how we get on
