Tesco's Do Equestrian Products

Yes I knew!

They've done it for ages and personally think it's over priced and not great. Argos have also joined the money making wagon as well with more over priced things!

Where have you been for the last couple of years?

Haven't bought their rugs yet but got loads of stable stuff there when i got my new horse and its really good value, also their johdpurs are only £16..you have to get them quick though because they do sell out quickly.

The pic in the argos catalogue for haynets, shows small holed nets. If you buy them (3 for £5.49) they are in fact large holed nets and not included in 30 day money back guarantee...

Grrrrr!

Their half chaps have lasted me longer than a well known brand that fell apart in less than a year - much cheaper too! The johds were an appalling cut on me so I gave them away. The rugs seem to be good value though - one of the horses down the yard has one.

Got a lightweight turnout last year and it fits a treat, so much so that 3 other liveries got them too! Agree though wait for the sales! Didn't know they were by Shires thought they were maybe Weatherbeeta as fabric and buckles look identical!!

The 30 day is if you change your mind about an item it clearly states this does not affect your statutary rights, if you take them to the shop and show that they are not as described they will refund your money

I've got a few of the tesco rugs, always get them in the sales. The best ones I have had are the double layered fleece - they are BRILLIANT, I bought two at the time for £7 each and now I wish I bought 20 as they are so good, I'd say they are as good as my thermatex but obviously a fraction of the price!

If they ever come up again I'm there!!

yep I bought that too and the fleece combo (with full neck) is the best fleece I have ever bought. Normally I only buy rugs in purple but I made an exception for these.

I didn't know Argos did tack either!

My Tesco's only sells tack in the summer and even then, there is only a small section even though my area has quite a few stables near it. Yet, the Tesco on the other side of Leicester that is surrounded by housing estates and the city, has tack year round! Go figure!

It's good though when my Tesco's gets rid of the tack in the autumn as all the stuff goes WAY cheap. I bought a load of brushes for 75p each! Some were 25p! Hooflex was only about £4 when it's nearly £10 at the tack shop.

I got the Tesco jodhpurs for Christmas and they are WAY too short in the leg for me. If you are over 5'6", don't bother with the jods. Comfy but they look like knee breeches on me so on Ebay they'll go.

Got a stable rug in the sale for £8, fits very well. However ordered some travel boots and had to return them, they were so rigid poor horse couldn't walk in them!

oh yeah ... i knew this they sell things for bargins too lolz... itz a great way to SHOP...
