As some of you know I have been making stencils for a while.

I have been evaluating some special new material for the clipping side of things (to make reuseable clipping ones), and need some help in the form of people who have used my clipping stencils before to do a comparitive test, and most importantly have a horse which they will be clipping in the next couple of weeks (as I know people are still clipping). Hair needs to be at least 1/2" long to make use of it.

You can have (within reason) a new reuseable design to use and keep, but in return I need you to come back to me with written (honest) feedback which I can use to make my decision, and also offer as testimony if I go ahead with it.

We (me and Ponyfeet) have already done our own tests and are pleased with the results but I need some independant feedback.

Edit, In retrospect, I will offer a few more designs to those who haven't used stencils before (but clip regularly) to so I can see a 'novice view' - same conditions apply.

The numbers on offer are going to be very limited BTW
 
I have used a stencil before (L plate) and would be more than happy to try one out for you... we are not going anywhere special though for a few months to show it off for you but I am more than happy to give feedback :D
 
I've not used a stencil before either, but could offer a hairy shetland pony as a model. He could take a small clip on his furry butt ! (He has in fact got a smiley face on his tum... I got carried away when I was clipping out his freezemark patch!!) ;-)
 
I would be happy to try one out for you. I have a VERY hairy fell pony that I can do it on. Never used a stencil before but I have looked and reconsidered because of the one time use :rolleyes:

Thanks for the response all :) . Something I should add, best hair length is between 1/2" and 1" long and you need a reasonable set of trimmers. You can use them with longer but the more you have, the longer it takes. On the other end of the scale, if the hair is shorter that 1/2", the sticky bit on the stencil which holds it in place doesn't have enough grip to hold it in place and they are fairly heavy.
