Test riding and new loan!

Hiya!

Some very exciting news, I might have a new part loan :)

I am test riding her this week, does anyone have any advice for going for a test ride? She is not to be jumped, just school work and hacking.

And any advice for part loans in general? It would be a 2 day a week loan.

When you go make sure you have a good look around the yard and talk to people if you can to gauge what the atmosphere is like, would you be happy spending time at this place etc.

Ask about what they expect you to do in terms of yard jobs and financial contribution. It's better to have these things in writing somewhere so it's clear for everyone involved.

My daughter and I have both had shares in the past which have worked well for both sides, as long as there's good communication.

Make sure the owner gets on first and you see them do a bit of everything before you get on.

And as above, make sure you’re clear on responsibilities and any financial contribution. Get it agreed in writing.
