testing avatar and siggie help

well seeing as im finding myself on here more and more often since quiting work

finally worked out how to do a avatar (hopefully) ive made a siggie but cant seem to get it on here? completely computer ignorant so need some simple help!!!

you need to save it in photobucket and copy and paste the url.
go onto the gallery forum, and there are step by step instructions on there.
look forward to seeing it!

hiya

basically your siggy doesnt work because its on *your* computer. and we cant see all the files on *your* computer, so you have to send the file to a server which is online and it will share it out for everyone to see, with a URL. Photobucket is one of those places. http://www.photobucket.com . so create an account and upload the file to photobucket. then you will have a url you can put in your siggy. At the moment, it doesnt work because the siggy points to your PC

well it only took me since nearly two hours but its there!!!!
umm....thinking it looks a little small....wonder if with my new found skills i can work out how to make it a little bigger!!

do you mean this big? i would say this is a little big for a siggy

i think siggys are supposed to be around the same size as the H&H banner up the top there ^^^

the reason it is small is because youve copied the preview version is all.
