I have not had this, but have read on here in the past that they will pay if something is found, but not if nothing is found (as there is no issue to claim against).

The safest thing wold be to email your insurers. I would say to call, but with Covid I found emailing was actually faster! Plus, you then have the reply in writing.

My horse went in for a non specific issue, p1ssing off in canter. SEIB said they’d pay up only if an issue was found. Vet had thought it was behavioural. Vet checks found PSD, so insurance paid up for all the tests and the treatment.
