Thanks for your replies. I have since received by invoice from the vets and the 2nd Tetanus is due between 21 to 92 days.

That's actually for flu. The other poster was correct and tetanus is 4-6 weeks. It's less specific because there are no regulations covering tetanus vaccination for competition/racing, unlike flu. However the 4-6 weeks falls within the 21-92 day period anyway.

The fees charged will vary around the country & also with which practice you use. Additionaly there will also be an attendance fee charged on top. Below is a list of prices taken from a vet website in Northern Scotland:-

Equine tetanus vaccine – £22.86
Equine flu vaccine – £36.33
Equine flu/tetanus vaccine – £42.02
