I have a 3 year old Connemara filly, she is a total nightmare for jumping out of the field.
She'll pop a 3'3 high fence like its a trotting pole, even a double fence line with a 3' gap added to the above fails to keep her in.
She is quite happy to leave her field mate and go off, she got out lady week and wandered up the farm track (next doors farm) round the farmyard and ended up in the YO garden.
She has plenty of grass on the field she is in, so it's not hunger, currently starting being backed so doubt it's boredom.
She clearly can't be kept stabled, so although I hate it, I'm considering tethering her, before she gets out onto the main road.
I know nothing about tethering, can anyone give me some advice on it.
Thankyou
