State of my kitchen today. Dog came back from walkers with blood all down her, they dont let her off the lead and had no idea what happened.
Turns out it was a tiny split in her ear right at the end ! Took ages to stop bleeding, she has been walking round with a band aid held on with gorilla tape !
N o idea what caused it was they didnt take her anywhere with brambles.

Poor girlie! Hope it's stopped bleeding and she's not too sore (and that your kitchen has recovered!).
We had blood everywhere last night, but that was OH  Turned out the beige wotsit had somehow got a claw stuck in a kitchen unit and panicked. OH tried to help and his hands got absolutely savaged as the beige one made his escape. OH patched up and cat none the worse for wear this morning, but the animals are definitely giving me grey hair!

Mine came for cuddles this morning and was licking something, couldn't see what in the dark but has left a huge pink slobbery stain on my quilt. I think it was a dew claw, endless issues with the weird hind one. It's sensitive today.

If I'm late with a dew claw trim, the front left always, always, ALWAYS gets unseated and the poor dog ends up with vet wrap and a limp so he can still be out in the dirt of the yard! I've heard they're trivial enough to remove via vet surgery, if it's a recurring issue it could be worth chatting to your vet about removal?

Penny less..check inside the ears..sometimes dogs will shake their heads, even for a waxy ear..this can ( rarely) cause rupture of a blood vessel in the ear flap..

cinnamon..sincerely hoping it’s not a tumour..❤️wishing your boy healing vibes.

and tongues ?
And willies…my first attempt at sanitary shave on my male poodle puppy was going well when he unexpectedly popped his little Willy out of the sheath as I was shaving..one tiny nick and it bled like a fountain.I had to get a dry tea bag on it .Nowadays I’m a pro at this as is he….I tell him what I’m about to do and he actually contracts into his sheath before I shave.,poodles are so smart.
