Has anybody tried the thorowgood or Kent and masters Anatomic saddles? I know they’re no longer producing these models (I wonder why?), but I like the idea of more room for the shoulder.
Also bonus if anybody can compare how they are to their standard GP models

I struggle with many of the product offerings out there that supposedly relieve the shoulders, to me they're more gimmick than anything else. If the tree and panel shape are the right shape/width/adjustment etc then shoulder freedom should be a given. It CAN be much more difficult with horses that have no muscle under the front of the saddle, especially if the horse has less than optimal posture meaning the shoulder blades really bulge out (so often this is what a "big shoulder" is, and it can, and should, be improved), and more difficult the more forward cut the saddle. I'm not a K&M fan but they can work for some.

Thanks for this, that makes sense!
