Hmmmmmmm. I think I'd look at it this way:

How would I feel if I said Yes, OK?
How would I feel if he wasn't there everyday?
How would I feel if I saw someone else riding him?

I think if I could answer anything other than "Fine, I'm quite happy with that" I'd put things on hold for a while.

I voted Sell - my daughter is hanging on to 2 horses, neither of which are doing what she wants but she won't sell them on. If he is going to a good home where you can keep track of him, sell and give another horse your attention - you can't keep them all.

Good advice on selling horses once received from an old horseman:

Don't forget to say "yes".

I said no as if its taking you this long with this much thought and you are this unsure, then you obviously dont wanna get rid of him. a horse of his quality and nature are hard to find,do you really want to give him away? you said yourself hes in ur top 2 horses.

Well I would originally have thought you would sell him, but am thrown by the smiley, so am thinking you have decided not to... How's that for making a decision? I'm as good as you! Okay... I'll go with sell.

I'm still feeling closer to the side of not selling. Today did not bring the outcome I was hoping for so I am now not sure about it all. No further forward I'm afraid.
